imagesCAMV6DSCYesterday we had a $420,000 closing delayed…We had a bit of a surprise moments before the closing and hence a delay…But it IS getting solved and our seller will be able to move on!  Hope we have the chance to help him in PSL with a new purchase as well!  Last week, Friday…A deal Melissa had been working (struggling) on for nearly 2 weeks finally died!  The deal started off on the wrong foot…Mind you it was NOT Melissa…She handled herself like the professional she is throughout what can only be described as a difficult situation…It’s dead and frankly we are happy about it…Some people cannot be helped and some commission checks are NOT worth the effort needed in earning them.  I explained to Melissa that it’s good to be successful enough to be able to pick our clientele and being able to walk away from some transactions is rewarding in itself.

Today we start all over again…Delivering keys to a title company for a new buyer…Closing a Cooper City listing, showing Miami Beach condo’s to a repeat client, inspections on another listing and a showing to a buyer client that we feel we found the perfect home for!

I’m thankful that our business is up and running and STRONG!  The past few days could have crippled other agents/teams…But not us!  TCREG handles adversity with class and always keeps things in perspective.  Good days and bad, being a Realtor in this South Florida market is VERY challenging but likewise…Very rewarding!  My nephew keeps considering Real Estate as a career, I am told because he sees what Melissa and I accomplish…It’s NOT as easy as we may make it seem.  It’s a lot of responsibility and a good bit of stress as well.  I wonder if he was a fly on the wall this past week if he would be thinking a bit differently?
